I’m LaWanda Keyes, the proud owner and creator of The Blessed Essentials, founded in 2015 for beautiful Black women like you who may be struggling with low self-esteem and confidence. Let me remind you right now — you are beautiful, you are unique, and you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. You carry gifts and talents only YOU possess.

In my younger years, I was searching for love and validation in all the wrong places because I didn’t truly know my worth. I was a people pleaser, always looking for approval from others — and that left me feeling empty.

But everything changed in 2005. By the grace of God, I began to see my value. I started speaking life over myself, meditating on His Word, and discovering the purpose He placed in my heart. That’s when I realized my personal “Blessed Essentials” were meant to be shared with the world.

That’s why I created The Blessed Essentials — to help women like you build yourself back up and walk in the power and confidence God intended.
